Happy birthday Wendy

Or not quite happy birthday as it is not Wendy’s birthday until next week, but as she is off on holkiday she will have to have the celebratory cake early.
Tom asked whet she would like to eat, and Wendy decided on a simple sponge baked well. So that is what Tom baked. He even topped it off with fresh summer fruits. Yummy. This is a perfect example of something simple baked really well.
