Carl tin cake without the Carl

Wendy produced a cake that looked like it had been baked in Carls cake tin (dreamy eyes while thinking of the Carl that we all love and miss). She introduced it to us as an apple and nut cake, and suprisingly it contained both apples and nuts (pecans and brazils). It also contained chocolate (which added to the flavour nicely) and strawberry jam (which I could not taste).

As the slices went around the office it was described as “good” and “lush” and other words meaning generaly tasty.

In fact, I think I may go back now for a second piece as it is sat on the desk behind me being all inviting.
